Corey Ian Haim
December 23, 1971- March 10,2010
(this is how I remember him. )
There are tons of places to read about Corey Haim. I just want to say that I have seen tons of his movies growing up.. Most of them I loved because hey, it was the 80s and I was a kid. I thought he and Corey Feldmen were too "old" to be my heart throbs (even though they are only 4 years older than I am) but I liked Corey Feldmen best. I first saw "Lucas" at a friend's house. I loved it. Then I saw the "Lost Boys" probably at the same friend's house. I remember seeing a good movie called " Silver Bullet" with Corey in it and was looking for Corey Feldmen, but he was not in that. My same friend that I saw "Lucas" with and I went to see "License to Drive" at the movie theatre. I will never forget it! We though twe were so grown up going to see it by ourselves too! I also remember the 2 Corey's telephone Hotline. Ha ha! I never called it, but It was good marketing.
I never watched "The 2 Corey's" reality show. I heard about it through friends and I bet the run it again soon.
I am still in shock. As an 80s child, there were so many kids on TV and movies we could relate to. When someone passes away who is around your age its scary. Corey should be rememberd for his good works that he brough to us and not for the sad way he passed.
RIP Corey Haim.. Rest in Peace.
